ABOUT ME

I'm a fourth year American student of philosophy and French. I recently finished a semester abroad in Dijon, France studying the language as well as philosophy. I am planning on a doctorate in philosophy and then eventually becoming a professor and author.

I enjoy meeting different people and experiencing other cultures and perspectives. I'm a pretty laid back person, easy to get along with (I make no enemies!) and enjoy listening to and playing music. I love culture so I love to see museums and landmarks but I also like to have a good time. So I also like to enjoy a good drink with interesting and fun people.

I also like hiking so if you know the great hikes of your country/region, be sure to let me know of them!

I tend to like talented artists rather than specific genres. So my tastes range all over the place. But if you selected something random on my mp3 player it's probably going to be classical music, folk, rock, or jazz.

Aside from music, film is probably my favorite art form. Some of my favorite directors include Darren Aronofsky (Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Black Swan), Terrence Malick (Thin Red Line, The New World), Stanley Kubrick, French new wave (Jean-Luc Godard), among others.
