I'm a 25 year old Irish guy recently home from a 20 month trip of a lifetime! I finished studying, worked like a dog and got a one-way ticket to Asia in Aril 2015. I started my last trip working as an English teacher in Dalian, China. I left there after 5 months when my contract was up and began travelling through China and South East Asia, India and Sri Lanka. My trip was supposed to finish in January last year, but its amazing how far others' inspiring stories, no time constraints and being a cheap-ass can get you. I'm enthusiastic, often almost to a fault, out-going and talkative, and I love sharing stories with people from all over the world about everything.. Trying not to take things too seriously and just want to enjoy floating around this part of the world for as long as my wallet allows prolonging the daunting reality of becoming an adult.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm now travelling in India until roughly the end of August. The main reason I'm on couchsurfing is that I want to meet locals as well as fellow travellers to experience the culture more fully and to share stories and experiences. I've had brilliant experiences travelling with like minded people and meeting locals from places I've visited in the past. I'd like to have lots more before I have to go home.

Interests

I'm interested in different cultures and learning about other languages and customs. I love football, reading and music (of most kinds). I could rant for days about Game of Thrones...best tv show ever made. My favourite thing is being up above it all looking down over these crazy landscapes and sweaty from the climb. I also love photography and trying to teach myself the intricacies of a DSLR.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not all that knowledgeable in any particular field, but I love a good debate about anything and everything. I studied Psychology and Clinical Neuroscience and I love talking about all things science, especially the marvels of the human brain.. I've spent over a year in China and South East Asia and have many stories and interesting facts to share from these experiences. I speak a few languages (very badly) I could pass on. I really enjoy practicing and always want to improve. I'm always looking to learn about literally everything so there's always something you can teach me that I'll be happy to know!! I'm all about having a good time, being active in every way and relaxing and discussing the world and everyone and -thing in it!!

I'm Irish, where I think there is a lot of culture despite being such a small country. I have travelled in Europe and have lived in London, California and Dalian, China. I have a lot of stories to swap and share. I also think I could be a bit of fun to hang out with, especially over a beer or two.
