After a few years in China and some life in Europe, I've settled in London for one year. Here I'm trying to understand a bit more about the giant Middle Kingdom by studying a degree about it. The plan is to go back to China at some point and explore some more, participate in projects, take part somehow in some of the huge changes going on over there.
I spend most of my time studying so I'm afraid this is pretty much all there is to say about me these days...:)
I won't be able to host you, but if you'd like to go for a coffee around the Bloomsbury area (British museum+universities area) I'll be glad to hear about your trips and experiences, and maybe discuss the various events/ student life going on in the area? (if you're desperate not to miss the next conference about China's development in London, look no further;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting and open minded people: the most reliable source so far!
I love films and documentaries, wandering around London on my bike, volunteering in general. I enjoy running, playing tennis, a nice pint of ale with a cigarette. Obviously I'm also monomaniac about all things chinese lately, from the late Qing dynasty to the best noodle around (if you're interested I'll be more than happy to offer my expertise).
Music, Movies, and Books
Don't have time to fill that now so will do it later.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in London now is pretty amazing to me (school, courses, people, projects going on , city: so far I like everything)
What I Can Share with Hosts
