ABOUT ME

I'm from a pretty small town in northern California, but lived in San Francisco for about four years for college. It is a very beautiful city with a lot to offer. Currently, I am living in Santiago, Chile to do my senior year on exchange at the PUC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crazy drinking games in Ireland, my very first pub crawl in Bristol, the time our hosts lent us their bikes so we could ride to Bath, eating sandwiches that had been salvaged from the local dumpster in Bristol(they were plastic-wrapped and delicious), wine bars and pub quizzes in London, staying in a little apartment a stone's throw away from Notre Dame...my friends and I have met some pretty fascinating and fun people couchsurfing. It's been a great experience.

兴趣

I like a little bit of everything, mostly. I love spending time outside -hiking, rock climbing, swimming, skiing, oohing and ahhhing at pretty things- but I also love spending time at home reading, hanging out with friends, trying to teach myself the guitar and cello. I like trying new things, and meeting new people.

Movies: I love movies. I cannot list all the movies that I enjoy; it would take far too long. But a few of the staples are The Godfather (1&2), Robin Hood: Men in Tights, 28 Days Later, The Lord of The Rings, Some Like It Hot, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Zombieland, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Goonies, Edward Scissorhands, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Zoolander, The Emperor's New Groove, Amadeus, Star Wars 4,5,6.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Grand Canyon in the winter. It's so perfectly still and silent. Hiking in the high Sierras at Yosemite also is its own sort of religious experience, I think.
