I am a friendly, easy-going, and considerate person. I am married with two young children. I am an active, happy guy from rural Manitoba.

Interests

I am a soon-to-be-graduated PhD student in ecology. I hold firm left-wing political views and am pretty out of touch with pop culture. I enjoy good science fiction and somewhat-less-good comic book flicks. I enjoy outdoor activities and fence recreationally quite well (the sport with the swords and the white outfits).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on Safari in Africa. The highlight from that would be watching a lion eat a warthog. Watching hippos frolic in the waves of lake Victoria was also pretty special. The most fun I've ever had was probably playing in huge waves of Lake Winnipeg during a thunder storm when I was 12.
