As I write this profile (Nov 2006) I'm brand new and know of couchsurfing chiefly through my friend Lisa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Previously (to Nov 2006) I've shared many couches (and a few tents and beds) with friends I'd met through the course of life. Traveled all around Europe and the US, as far as Ukraine.

Well I think teaching begins with respecting who the student is. Without a student and their questions, teaching is just filling space at best, and potentially life-destroying at worst.
