Hi Everyone!
I'm an English backpacker at the moment making my way around Australia. I have come here almost immediately finishing my degree and it is the first bit of solo traveling iv done.
Iv been a member of couchsurfing for a couple years but never managed to use the site as i had always left conversing with people on here till the last minute! I was speaking to a guy at the hostel last night and he pretty much told me to give it a go and told me about the amazing experiences he had by using this site - and he sold it to me!

In 2013 me and two amigos from uni hitch hiked from Newcastle (UK) to Marrakesh (Morocco) for a charity called Link which was founded to help improve education in impoverished countries across Africa.
