Hello! I guess I could say I am an adventurous introvert that enjoys meeting new people and having engaging conversations while still finding space for solo time and activities. I enjoy traveling most when I move somewhere new for a while so I can really get to know the place. I studied abroad in Viet Nam in college for 4 months, and lived in Sweden for 2 years after college. Now I live and work in Colorado (USA) in winters teaching alpine skiing ⛷, and Minnesota in summers working for Outward Bound where we teach communication, leadership, and teamwork in a wilderness setting 🛶. I love being outside with my dog most of all.

I really love meeting new people, but I have a hard time introducing myself randomly. I think staying with locals when traveling is the easiest way to meet new people, as well as the best way to get to know an area!

I love to read. I usually have at least two books going; one non-fiction learning about race, gender, or defunct capitalist systems and one sci-fi or other mindless fiction adventure.

After high school I went on a 40 day whitewater canoe trip to northern Canada, land of the midnight sun. It was an experience that has shaped my life, and probably why I continue to work in the outdoors.
