About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling at a lower pace

ABOUT ME

We are Connie, Michael and littler Theodor, a young family from Dresden, Germany. Last summer we became first-time parent and naturally our focus shifted from travelling to raising out little cute son. Nevertheless we still love travelling, now at a lower pace, just to give him the chance to learn everything about backpacking from the scratch :-).

Our current trip and first big journey with baby is to go the pyrenees with our car. Our focus will be to meet other families and just having time together to watch as and how Theo is exploring the world.

Overall we think we are easy going and down-to-earth person people - but that's up to you to decide.

PHILOSOPHY

We try to do in life what we like and but also take care at our loved once at the same time - which is sometimes hard :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Connie is a good cook and makes wonderful cakes. Theo is always good for a laugther and Michael is great in swapping travel stories.

We moved to our own house in the north of Dresden and are able to host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We meet some people for coffee while we were travelling in Serbia and it was a good chance to get a better view on the political situation on the Balkan. We also stay with few people in Australia - great way to get an insight on a different culture.

Interests

the best way to describe our interests woulb be to tell you about a perfect day. Start the day with a long big breakfast with friends, head to the fleamarket and look for old stuff or spent the day in the mountains hiking or climbing and return home for a barbecue with family and friends. Go to bed tired and happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

As we travel Michael reads not only all the guide books but also traveldescriptions and on cultures and traditions from far and close. Our favourite tunes are a good mix - i guess depending on our mood ... Sinartra, Kaas, Pink Martini ...
