About Me

I'm a very observant person, I love deep and intelligent conversations and I love making new friends. I love outdoor activities, sports, biking, hiking and more. I have traveled to many places in North America, all over the U.S. and Canada. I am now exploring the rest of the beautiful world that I have missed out on. I love music of all kinds. I am a relaxed and adventurous person, who loves sharing and hearing stories. But most of all, I like to have fun, whether its a crazy party or an adventure or just hanging out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing in order to have a different kind of travel experience, in order to try and meet some locals instead of other travelers. I hope to meet some cool new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally love music of all kinds. From metal to edm to alternative rock to classic rock to hiphop to pop. Some of my favorite artists are Red hot chilis, foo fighters, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, led zeppelin, the rolling stones, the human abstract, tesseract, logic, kiiara, gramatik, pretty lights, odesza, oh wonder, broken bells, the black keys... the list goes on and on.
I used to be quite an avid reader and I am only now getting back into it. I mostly enjoy fiction and fantasy novels, but I've been reading more books on neuroscience and behaviour, a growing passion of mine.
My favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings (all of them), eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, american psycho, the usual suspects, pulp fiction and the godfather.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, when I was skiing at Whistler in British Columbia, I was at the top of a small but diffucult mogul bowl. I am a proficient skier, I thought myself confident enough to make it down the slope. Instead I rolled down the hill. Quite literally. My ski caught on some sticky snow at the top and I tumbled down the entire hill, spinning and losing both my skis and poles along the way, WITHOUT breaking a single bone or getting a single bruise. I think that's pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to think I have things to teach, but mostly I find myself learning... I went through some turbulent years and came out understanding that I know very little. So everyday, I remind myself to keep an open mind, accepting of everything and everyone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my good-natured, relaxed personality, as well as a tendency to clean up. I am also quite capable in the kitchen.
