About Me
Coming to Sydney from Canada,
I'm very passionate about having new experiences. Stepping out of my comfort zone. My best friend is an aid of sorts to the elderly, and he asked one of them once "what is one thing you would change about your life if given the chance?" he replied that he would chase after that gut feeling one gets when standing on the edge of something new and unknown, to explore it, and by extension himself, further. That story is always my reference when pursuing new and intriguing opportunities.
I also love reading, mostly classic lit, philosophy, and Eastern philosophy/religious studies as I find the facets behind Zen Buddhism and Tibetan Mysticism really interesting (not that I practice Zen, I appreciate it)
Music is another huge influence and passion. Although I don't play any instruments (tried guitar once) I'd like to have another attempt at it one day! many people in my life know me for having a very wide and diverse eclectic music taste. If you're ever looking for odd and out-there recs, I'm your guy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Fun way to ingrain myself with some locals, and meet new people shortly after landing. It also helps alleviate the stress of being completely to ones self in a place they've never been, and I think meeting new people is always a good way to open potential doors!

Teach, Learn, Share
Those days of long hikes to a beach a friend recommended, or staying on an outdoor property crowned in Summer warmth, showering in a shed facing a valley, experiences such as these can recompose us, remind us of how wide and wonderful life can be.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fun conversation, eagerness to go out see what Sydney is all about, politeness, respect, you're offering me a place to stay! kindness and having an overall pleasant interaction is the least I can do for your generosity. I can also help out around the house, and share some tunes with you.
