I'm a 23 year old Civil Engineer who graduated in 2015 and joined the work force right out of college. Over the years I became very jealous of seeing my friends travel the world; South America, Europe, Asia, and New Zealand. So now it's my turn and I've decided to take a trip to New Zealand. I chose New Zealand due to it's beautiful landscape, friendly people, and I have a few friends located in Taranaki who insisted I come down.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing for 2 main reason. The first is to alleviate the cost of travel which means more funds for fun adventures and activities. The second is I love cultures and thought it would be a good way to see how the other side of the world lives. I know it won't be a completely different lifestyle but it's the small things I find fascinating.
