About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am trying to live my life to the fullest while figuring out what the heck to do with it. I suppose living it is a start. Working while traveling though, that is my motto.

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going guy, I like having new experiences, meeting new people, and have a not-so-closet obsession with the outdoors. The rest is below.

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose I live my life because I was born. Seeing as this is the life that I have, I might as well live it to the fullest. So that is what I do, I just try and have new and different experiences as often as I can, and I try not to judge before knowing. Otherwise I'm pretty easy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined the Couch surfing community and would love to experience what this community has to offer and hopefully have some great experiences with people along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times now, and it is an amazing experience. I truly enjoy opening my home up to others and sharing the amazing place that i am living in, Humboldt County, CA!

Interests

I am interested in everything outdoors. Hiking, rock climbing, camping, kayaking, you name it, I love to do it. I am also into music and always interested in sharing with others what I like and what they do, to me music is a great way to break down barriers and enjoy something together. Also, anything to help out your fellow man, volunteering, environmental protection, or just having coffee and a conversation, just being part of the human experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love just about every movie I have ever seen. Music too really, though techno and electronic are not really my scene. For books, I have a soft spot for spy novels, but I will read pretty much anything, but toss it aside if I don't like it by page 100.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most amazing experience would probably be living in a national park in Ecuador. I got to hike every day for three months and track a bear, amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

When I am not doing volunteer work, I fancy myself an outdoor guide. So if you ever want to go camping, climbing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snowboarding, whatever...let me know and we'll go on an adventure!!

I also like brewing beer, and would be happy to brew with anyone who enjoys such a tasty beverage.

I like to cook other things besides beer too, and would love to swap recipies...really I am looking to learn more on this one.

I would love to learn more languages, knitting, woodworking, glassblowing, construction, gardening, and I am sure much more that I can't think of off the top of my head, but if we get together I think we could brainstorm.
