Originally from a small village in Northern Ireland until I joined the Royal Navy at 18, since then I’ve been living in Portsmouth, England where I’m currently stationed.

I tend to be in Portsmouth when I’m not going away with the Navy on the 3 deployments I’ve completed and also when travelling around as much as I can feasibly can in my own time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Intending to travel around quite a bit more and what better way to discover a country than with a local.

Plus having a place to sleep in a hurry when in a tight spot is never the worst back up plan!

Swam between 2 tectonic plates in water 1 degree over freezing point.
