I was told about couch surfing some years back after an old friend used it to travel through New Zealand and Australia. According to them the best way to meet new friends especially for the solo traveler. I've visited quite a few countries but I am yet to use couchsurfing to find a host! Hopefully on my next trip

Most sports interest me, I've recently taken up tennis as an alternative to playing rugby. Would love to see as much of the world as I can. So far I've traveled through Europe, the USA, New Zealand, India, central and South America. I have lived in Ireland, Sweden and Guernsey in the Channel Islands

Love to read but struggle to find books to keep me interested. I've recently read 'into thin air' by Jon krakauer, which is well worth a read. As I've recently been to Bolivia 'marching powder' is high on my list.
