Hi! I am a Healing Arts Practitioner, a visual artist and a wanna-be writer. I currently live in central North Carolina, USA, with my husband, our grown daughter, 16 cats, 2 dogs, 1 fish and a hermit crab. We all love to travel, although with so many animals, we have to take turns so someone will always be at home to care for them. Between the three of us, we have been to Japan, England, Iceland, France, Jamaica and a good part of the United States. My husband is getting ready to retire and we are looking for land in Maine to open a healing sanctuary.

I am on CS in the hopes of connecting with the people of Maine who are passionate and knowledgeable about their state and local area. I am hoping to spend up to a month traveling around the state to find the perfect spot of land for our sanctuary, and besides my desire to save as much money as possible (so that the rest can go towards actually buying the land!) I am pretty much of an introvert and if left to my own devices, will probably not get out and actually meet the people I want to get to know! I figured if I did CS on this trip, it would be a great way to step outside of my comfort zone and grow...and I can't think of a better way to connect with who may someday be my future neighbors!
