ABOUT ME

I'm a college sophomore of Mechanical Engineering in NTU(National Taiwan University), currently considering taking up Philosophy or Gender Studies as a double major.

Interests

I fell in love with literature at a very early age. Both reading and writing literary novels and poetry have always been a vital part of my existence.
For last few years I've become an avid baker. From tiramisu to macaroons, I'm never as good as I had hoped but nevertheless cooking relaxes me. And I have the fortune of inheriting from my mother very fine taste buds.
I'm also very interested in journalism, philosophy, and other social sciences, for more practical reasons. Taiwan is a very peculiar island with unique problems (we live in a young democracy made up with citizens of clashing heritages, and as one of few nations UN doesn't recognize, as a people we have serious identity crisis), so I hope to explore them through both study and practice.
