ABOUT ME

I come from a family of travellers. My Canadian-born mother left home at the age of 18 without a penny or dime to pursue her dream in Europe. My French-born father grew up in Africa, Senegal and lived there until the age of 30. They somehow met in Austria, moved to Canada, Toronto, they had me and then a year later moved to Japan. That is where I grew up until the age of 6. We then moved five more times and the story goes on. I've made many homes since my travels, but Canada has become my anchor.

I am one of many Couchsurfers who enjoy sharing. I participate in Couchsurfing by opening my home to fellow travellers when ever need the be.

I unfortunately haven't had much experience with Couchsurfing yet, but I am looking forward to it all!

Interests

I mainly love to read and travel. I also love diversity, grassroots-community organizations, social and environmental justice, performing arts, painting, music and poetry. I love gardens of all sorts. I love flowers. I love holistic healing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really a fan of movies though I like to watch them from time to time. // I love all sorts of music, mostly world music, blues, (some) jazz, big-band, and 50-60-70s folk. // So. Many. Books. I can't even list them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went paragliding in the Himalayas in India! That was a pretty cool experience.

I know a lot about (Eastern and Western) philosophy, political philosophy, plants and music. But I rather learn than teach.
