I've been blessed with opportunity and abundance through a little luck and hard work, now striving to share some of my learning and have an impact on the world.
Trying to live simply so that others may simply live, while striving earnestly to add to my knowledge. All the while recognizing that no one is better than me, and I'm not better than anybody else.
I've lived a little and learned a lot, I studied in school and played the fool, but found true power being self taught.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All the best times I've had while traveling were because of the people, some couchsurfers and many not. The many great times yielded when I've invited travelers to my home far outweighs the few less than sterling guests.
The kindness of the CS community when I started traveling was unbelievable, and helped me through a lot of challenges. Now that I'm a little wiser, my travel tales a little wider, I'm looking forward to learning and sharing more.
Cooking and food connects us to the earth and each other, and is the fastest way to know a culture.
Gardening sustains us and literally connects us to our roots, the roots of life, and the beauty it blossoms, while music helps bring about new interpretations and bountiful, beautiful, glowing vibrations.
Additionally, I recognize the world isn't fair or just in the slightest, I've benefited from inequality and ignorance more than many and finally found a way to start swinging the pendulum back through business and education.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched a magnificent sunrise over a beautiful city with a great friend.
Traveled alone abroad with no responsibilities, and no burdens.
Swimming in the Green Canyon on Central Java, Indonesia was pretty magnificent as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have knowledge of many different technical fields from bicycles and most everything with wheels, to computers, carpentry, gardening, and most things you can do outdoors. I have studied some philosophy, religion, and computer sciences as well, but know that there is infinitely more to learn so my mind will remain open. I can cook almost anything if you give me a few instructions :)
