I'm 25 and a fashion and textiles designer, who at the moment is wondering around the world. Happy, simple and easy going I always try to enjoy life at the fullest!

I come from a big and nice family settled in the heart of Chile, Santiago. Big city but cosy at the same time, it's perfectly combined with nature in its surroundings. I guess it offers the entertainment of diversity from a city and the mountains with beautiful sunsets when it's time to relax.

I'm lucky. So far I've been through amazing life experiences -all quite different- that have made me very interested on getting out there, seeing and trying new things. Traveling, meeting people from the globe, teaching, volunteering, work experience, etc. But after a few years of working in my career path back in Chile I decided to make a stop and go on a "round the world trip" like a had dreamed. Combined with a work and holiday experience in Australia, I find myself moving around the globe from Oceania to South America going through Asia and Europe, absolutely amazed by diversity.

Since I first heard of it, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for cultural exchange right from a local. I've never been a big fan of traveling under tours or tight schedules, to me the best way to travel is not by ticking off a list of musts but to really be able to feel and experience either a town, city or country right from its heart, from someone who knows it and lives in it.

I believe that for both the host and the surfer it's a win win experience; to meet new people, to have fun and know a little bit more about someone else's country or life.

兴趣

I guess my interests can be quite opposite sometimes but they can go from interesting to boring for others! I like running, trekking and my bicycle either before or after a long day of work, I guess doing sports helps me relax and disconnect.

But I'm also very creative so it's not weird to find me working on crafts, sewing, taking photos or with my head on a new project. I've always been very attracted to art and design so anything related to it might keep me hooked.

And something that may not seem like an interest to others I very much enjoy being able to hang out with friends, to catch up with them, to have a nice barbecue, to spend time with the family or just to have a chilled afternoon watching movies.

音乐、电影和书籍

I ike a little bit of everything. When going out at night or hanging out with friends I love reggaeton. A type of music not known by many but quite fun for latinamericans. It just makes you wanna dance and have fun! But just chilling I like to listen a weird mix of pop, some rock, indie and jazz. Absolutely great music when you have a musician in the family (or at least who thinks he is!)

With books I could say that we have a starting relationship. I only discovered it a couple of years ago (I struggle being easily distracted) and I have a lot more to discover!

Some of my favorite movies though are Midnight in Paris, Les Miserables, Before the Sunrise (and the rest of the saga), Finding Nemo, Salmon fishing in the Yemen, etc

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Born and raised in Santiago, I've also had the chance to live abroad. When I was 16 I went on an exchange program to Sydney and lived there for a year. This was probably the biggest turning point in my life. Coming from a comfortable environment I suddenly became to discover the world. The way that trip opened my eyes and made me an explorer is something I'll always be very thankful of and something that I recommend for everyone to try!
