About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeking enlightenment through learning about history, psychology and economics. Also seeking out the best tacos wherever I go.

ABOUT ME

I've been living in San Francisco for well over a year now. As a general rule, I do things our of intellectual interest to stave off boredom. I love trying new things. Getting the insights and learnings from dabbling is much more interesting to me than becoming an expert. On the gastronomical front, I'll eat just about anything except for bitter melon. While I enjoy reading, I am inevitably more ambitious in the bookstore than I am under my reading lamp. I'm a perpetual student of economics, history, psychology and philosophy. I wax philosophic on my favorite economic concepts during drinking sessions. Recently, I've picked up a taste for improv comedy. I love going to shows, and I've finished the year-long beginner's classes at Second City.

PHILOSOPHY

Totally unclear on the causality behind the universe. Things happen as a result of probabilistic happenstance, people place create their own meaning around these things. The world is a massive plinko board and I enjoy watching where the chips land.

Improv comedy. I wouldn't say that I'm an expert or all that funny, but I've taken a year's worth of classes and I've explored the deep scene in Chicago. Happy to chat about it.
