Hello! My name is Cooper Green. I am currently traveling across the country while living in my Prius in order to make YouTube content for my channel Natural Buildings. Natural Building focuses on building homes/structures from locally sourced natural materials such as clay, sand, straw, and timbers. This is something I am very passionate about as I believe natural building can be key in creating affordable sustainable housing.

I have everything I need to travel while living in my car but occasionally it would be nice to sleep in a bedroom with a/c, cook a meal in a real kitchen, or shower without having to drive to the gym lol.

Overall, there is nothing I'd rather be doing than traveling and making this content, so the struggles of living on the road are worth it to me. I'd also love to have an opportunity to connect with some new friends along my journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think this platform attracts authentic, kind, generous people. It's amazing to be willing to offer your home to a stranger with the intention of making a new connection. In the future when I have a place of my own I hope to offer couchsurfers as well.

Interests

As I mentioned I am very passionate about natural building and traveling full-time while creating YouTube content. Much of my time in between filming is spent video editing which is also something I truly enjoy.

This is the first time I have ever traveled across the United States and I look forward to meeting people from all different walks of life as I explore.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books are the hand-sculpted house, building green, and a pattern language. I mainly listen to reggae but I like lots of different styles of music.

I recently filmed a tour at this gorgeous straw bale/cob home called La Casa De Da-Vid which is an incredible representation of what's possible in building naturally.
