ABOUT ME

well-traveled. formerly a recording artist on a small indie label. practicing lawyer. after the real estate crash, i took some time off and took a gig teaching english in korea in order to spend some time traveling around asia, but i'm now back to practicing law. i am moving back to orlando to build up my law practice. :)

PHILOSOPHY

the demonization of pleasure is merely the contol by others through the cultivation of self doubt.

it is the small things that make the difference between living and living well.

i love meeting new people to get to know the "locals's" local. take me to a karaoke bar, and you will never get me off the stage. i love to perform, and i love to watch others. maybe there are two of me. sometimes, i love being the center of attention. other times, i prefer to sit quietly and observe. history and first-hand experiences are my passion. i love film and see almost everything that comes out. sightseeing during the day. music/pubs/fun at night...making friends every where i go. adventure is where u make it; never be afraid to try. anyone want to teach me how to play guitar? :)

sports i love watch or play: american football (particularly college football), soccer, tennis, mixed pairs synchronized swimming -- ok, not really the last one. :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love everything, especially historical fiction. Music has always been part of my life since I was in the womb. I can dig most everything from rock to classical, but I drift towards indie, alt, bluesy rock the most. As a singer, I prefer music with actual singing, not screaming, and lyrics that are meaningful and poetic: "parietal lobes turn mechanical: as u look the other way, the frog begins to boil," but not "hey, hey, people, put ur fist up and do the fist pump!"

Movies with a twist jump to the top of my must see list: The Usual Suspects, Momemnto, The Sixth Sense, Shawshank Redemption...far too many to mention. I enjoy "movies," but I love "film".

i have touched he liberty bell and the rosetta stone. i have seen sheet music written by the hand of mozart. i have seen the 3 remaining copies of the magna carta. i have sat in the colosseum in rome, and i have swam in the mediterranean, caribbean, and yellow seas as well as the atlantic and pacific oceans.
