ABOUT ME

Hi there.

I live in Townsville North QLD. For the past 4 years, I have had the best time of my life travelling all around the world, mostly Europe, North America and New Zealand. I am continuing to aim to get to a new part of the world every time I take a holiday. In 2008, I did a working holiday in Canada for 6 months and had some of the best times of my life....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Three of my four international trips, I have been able to at stay at friends places.... All of these friends I had made aquantences for from my international trips.

I know just how much more of a cultural experience staying in someones house, in comparison to a motel, can be to experiencing the culture of a different country.

Having had this great hospitality before, I would like to open our house up while I have the chance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Earlier this year I was able to put my house up to some friends that I met in Germany whilst on a Contiki Tour.

My house mates loved having our guests over so much, that they said we should do this more often....

Having stayed at many different hostels around the world, I spoke to some people who used couch surfing and thought that this might be a good way to help other travellers out.
