I'm currently living with a great house of people in Flagstaff, AZ as I finish up my physical therapy degree. We tend to be busy students, so we won't always be available for guests, but might be able to host some folks every once in a while. I just spent six weeks traveling around Europe last fall and had my first official couchsurfing experiences. It was a wonderful way to explore, so I'm hoping to be able to provide a good experience in Arizona for some other people!

Travel is a more full experience when people connect with other people... I want to help people explore the places I live and learn about other areas and cultures by staying with locals when I travel. I've had great experiences with couchsurfing so far, and hope to keep it that way!

兴趣

Being out in nature: backpacking, biking, rock climbing, hiking...
Dancing: salsa and other latin dance, ballet, line dancing, spontaneous dance parties with friends... I'm willing to try pretty much any kind of dancing.
Music: playing piano, flute, and singing, and listening to others make music
Food: I was a picky eater when I was little, but now I love cooking interesting meals with friends and enjoy most things besides factory-farmed meat (I'm usually vegetarian except for animals that were hunted or fished or raised in a humane way)
Learning: I've been in public school, homescooled, unschooled, and in college for undergrad and grad school, and I believe most learning comes with experiences. I'm excited to learn from traveling and from other travelers!

Music: Generally, I like classic rock that my parents listened to and "Alternative," but I also enjoy things from lots of other genres. Not a big fan of country music, but it's fun for two-stepping or line dancing. Some of my favorite artists are Ben Folds, Dar Williams, The Beatles, Carsie Blanton, Hozier, and Zakk Wylde.

Movies: Having a hard time remembering movies right now, but The Lord of the Rings trilogy are probably my favorites. I enjoy comedies and documentaries about interesting things.
