My name is Coral and I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin this year studying Business. I am almost always smiling because I love life! Overall, I'm outgoing, open-minded, happy, and I love to meet new people. In the United States I love to stay busy by exploring, volunteering, grabbing lunch with friends, and volunteering quite a bit through various organizations. I am always up for an adventure and SO excited to learn about you, your interests, life, and culture too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to fill my life with adventures and believe that one of the great things about travel is that you find out how many good, kind, people there are in this world.

This Spring I am backpacking Europe and I want to truly experience it beyond the tourist norm. I would love to come back with stories to share about the real culture, traditions, and day-to-day life of people around the world! Life was meant for good friends and great adventures, and I am excited that couchsurfing will allow me to connect with locals as hosts in their own country and will also allow me to host, share stories, and welcome others when I am back in the United States.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to almost any music- I would also love to listen to live music!
Movies: Bridesmaids (a hilarious comedy) and In Time (an action/ thriller/ crime/ and light science fiction movie based on a super interesting concept) are my two favorite movies.
Books: I love romance novels and "Heaven is For Real" is one of my favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the 2016 Minnesota Cherry Blossom Princess and got to represent my state in Washington DC at a variety of social, political, and community service oriented networking events.

Each state and several countries choose one girl to represent them (between 19-24 years old) based on community service, academics, and leadership. I was chosen to represent Minnesota so I had an opportunity to meet the Speaker of the House, the Japanese and Lithuanian Ambassadors, a French Diplomat, my senator, as well as several incredible women CEOS!
