I am 27 and I'm Parisian-based for 1,5 year, after years of study and first job in the Alps. Also: studied six months in Australia. Wicked.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up a few year ago and experienced CS in Australia - mostly Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane - while travelling at the end of my exchange semester. I met awesome and very welcoming people who showed me the best of their cities, their countries or their lives so I hope I can do the same now in Paris.

Intereses

Sport, sport, sport and always sport. I'm a basketball player and I can't stay a week without going to the gym, playing soccer, basketball, tennis, squash, or swimming. Even if it's getting more and more difficult due to my job...

I am a full-time reader too - another way of travelling isn't it ? -, see below for more details.

Travelling and discovering new places, to live or only to spend a few days. When I was new on CS, I wrote this: "The next big trip will probably be South America and hiking in the Andes for two months."

Unfortunately, I haven't done it yet. But I discover other countries : Lebanon, Mongolia, Russia and Iceland. And I decided to stop planning next trip :)

Movies - A mix of Pedro Almodovar, Inarritu, Woody Allen, Xavier Dolan, Wes Anderson, Terrence Malick, Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton.

Music - I am a musical swinger baby. When I was younger, I had the choice between music and sport, and unfortunately - or not - I chose the latter. It resulted into me being an enthusiastic (bad) singer and a novice listener - but I'm learning.

Books - I am a massive reader, from English classic literature to French theatre. I also love contemporary novels, American thrillers or South American poetry. In short and in three works - Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) ; Alexander Pushkin, Mednyi Vsadnik (The Bronze Horseman) ; Luis Sepulveda, El Mundo del Fin del Mundo (The World at the End of the World).

Volcano and glacier climbing. Nap on Bondi Beach. Sleeping in deserts - in Mongolia, Iceland and Iran.

Teach - a few French words and what I've learnt from life.
