About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover, meet amazing people, live breathtaking moments!
ABOUT ME
I am a life lover. My recipe is a mix of:
- open-mindedness,
- curiosity,
- respect,
- enthusiasm,
- good education,
- a genuine passion for sharing, visiting amazing places, enjoying living in the present moment, food,
- all that with a big touch of spontaneity.
I've lived in Nice, Toulouse, Poitiers, Las Vegas and Essaouira (Morocco). Even if I still have a lot of stuffs, I consider that my life is where my spirit is and not in what I own.
My experience has taught me that places matter but that people make them unique. This is the reason why, even if I appreciate being alone, meditating for instance, I do look for meeting new people while traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
The four agreements (Toltec Wisdom):
1. Be Impeccable with your Word
2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
3. Don’t Make Assumptions
4. Always Do Your Best
Spontaneous, drama free, keep it simple, be a generous soul.
Memento mori
"Hapiness is only real when shared" Chris, Into the wild
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been a while since I've been a member but I've never had the occasion to fully participate.
Since the website has evolved and now enables to invite people only for hang-outs this is how I met a great guy, Paul, in Las Vegas. I had a second place for a scooter tour with a Groupon and I posted an invitation on LasVegas CS page. We spent a worth remembering day together!

Music, Movies, and Books
I would be completely nuts to try to list them all but to give you an idea:
Kubrick, Matrix trilogy, The Broken Circle, Motorcycle Diaries, Into the Wild, American Beauty, La Haine, Old Boy, Reservoir Dogs, Klapish trilogy, Will Hunting, In the Mood for Love, Samsara... Le dîner de cons; Le Grand Bleu, Léon, Le 5eme élément: Luc Besson; Lost in Translation;
I listen to nearly all kinds of music it depends on my mood but on a regular basis I listen to Pink Floyd, Sigur Ros, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, The Doors, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Django Reinhardt, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel, Aznavour, Marcus Miller, Chet Backer, John Coltrane, Nancy Sinatra, Nina Simone, Elvis Presley... several movies compositors like Ennio Morriconne, Hans Zimmer, unknown bands, meditation playlists on youtube, radios like cafedelmar, TSF Jazz and so more.
Even if I am a loss at music, I love listening to it and I see music as a wonderful way to open yourself to other cultures, other human beings. It is maybe one of the reasons why I share my life with a musician! ;)
Here again, complete non-sense to try to list them all!
La Cité de la Joie, Le Prophète Khalil Gibran, The Alchemist, La Peste and Camus in general, 1984...
Last to date: Lean In by Sherryl Sandberg
I love books and getting into what I'm reading. There is also a part of me which likes reading technical stuffs about economy, business, psychology, spirituality in order to satisfy my thirst of knowledge. Mémoires de Guerre de De Gaulle, Churchill biography by Kersaudy, Muhammad Yunus...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being aware that I'm alive and that I live on a beautiful planet that I share with 7 billion other human beings and so many other living beings.
Having said that, here some moments that left quite an impression on me
- Visiting Gaudi's Sagrada Familia
- Staring at the immensity of the East Rim of Grand Canyon at 7:30 am after a 15 mile track where only wild turkeys, bisons and hinds were wild enough to go
- Driving through Valley of God just before night fall with my husband and his playlist
- Hiking in Sequoia, taking my time to stare at these unbelievable trees
- Trip to Venice with my sister
- Riding a horse for 4 days on Moroccan beaches and in the countryside
- Looking for a riad in the old medina of Marrakech, walking in very old and worn streets, and opening the door of a real gem
- Staying in front of the Monkey Fingers, in Rose Valley, at Ilias and Moha's
Teach, Learn, Share
- I have some skills in photography and photo editing
- I can teach French with pleasure
- I would love to cook with you
Share a BBQ, a hike, a picnic, a moment in a kitchen
and much more!
