One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Cambodia was something I wouldn't forget. With FRA, I was teaching kids in a small town in Poipet. Being a girl brought up in a big city where I could easily take all the resources for granted, Poipet seemed like a whole new world.
However, it was a beautiful and unpolluted world. People were a bit shy to foreigners but they were still warm and tried to be helpful. The kids were wonderful and they were so curious that I could see a whole universe in their eyes. There weren't much entertainment but we didn't need any. The interaction with people was simple but sincere.
