Hello! I am 19 years old and currently finishing my freshman year at Tulane University. (I am the one in the middle of my main photo). I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas but now live in New Orleans, Louisiana most of the year while I attend school. I am majoring in International Relations and minoring in Mandarin Chinese. My first language is English but I studied Spanish for many years, although I am still very bad at it. Last year I began studying Mandarin Chinese and hope to continue doing so throughout my college career. I am also very interested in photography and it has been a passion of mine since a young age. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I want to travel to new countries and gain diverse experiences all over the world. I have traveled fairly extensively within the United States but I have not been outside of the states except for a trip or two. I've been to Mexico and Argentina, as well as Uruguay. I think that travel is a very important part of life and one's experience as a member of the global community so I look forward to visiting as many countries as possible. Travel is also a great excuse to break out my camera and start making new images.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is pretty varied and I like a lot of different genres, but I really dislike country music. As far as TV goes I am a big fan of Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office, Breaking Bad, Shameless, and a few others. I have seen a lot of movies and will watch just about anything but I have seen each of Wes Anderson's films numerous times.
