ABOUT ME

It's difficult to speak about myself. My friends usually say I can move mountains if I set myself that goal. I guess they say that because I'm very enthusiastic, so when I like something, I transmit my feeling to everyone.

I'm a very active person: I'm always doing something or planning it: sometimes I even realize I made too many plans for the same day, and it gets difficult to manage it...

PHILOSOPHY

I have a big one principle: "Treat others as you would like to be treated"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was living in Edinburgh, my flatmates and I hosted people all the time!! Then I tried travelling with it, and I found out it's the best way to travel. Later, in Salamanca, my boyfriend and I organised a weekly meeting with the CS community and hosted people from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was when I wasn´t in couchsurfing yet!. I was in Fortaleza (Brasil) and one of my friends looked for a couch. We met a group of couchsurfers there, and it was a great experience!!.
Then, living in Edinburgh I hosted along with my flatmates the most amazing couchsurfers ever! I'll always keep such good memories of those crazy times!
Back in Spain I had to slow down because of work but I still do it when I can.

Interests

I studied medicine, and I love it. Among all the things of Nature, the one that most amazes me is the human body (and there are lots of things in Nature I find incredibles!).

Apart from that, I like meeting people (of course!), finding out about other cultures and life-styles, practising sports (such as football, ski, table tennis...), travelling, cooking...

Films: "La vita è bella" (Life is beautiful); "Pirates of the Caribbean" (only the first one), "Tesis", "abre los ojos", "A la folie, pas du tout"...
Books: "The Clan of the cave bear", "World without end", "Manolito Gafotas", "1984", "Never ending history", "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas"...
Music: I like spanish pop-rock, like "Platero y tú", "La Fuga", "Los piratas"... I also like a lot the singer-songwriter "Joaquín Sabina". I also listen "Muse", "Bon Jovi", "The Corrs", "Mike Oldfield", "Yann Tiersen"...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying the human brain. It's my career and it's incredible, it'll never stop surprising me.

I like sharing music and cooking recipes. I think it's an easy way to take a piece of culture of each one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I stay at someone's house, I usually cook something; specially if I'm travelling with my friend Marta Marzo (she's also on CS); I've cooked more "tortillas españolas" with her while travelling than in my whole life... hehehe.

It's a way to share my culture and it gives an excuse to stay together and chat for all the night.
