COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I have hosted was in Cape Town during my exchange year. Funny enough, the first request came from a German :-P

Intereses

I enjoy food a lot. Trying different recipes at home and with friends or eating out in new places makes me happy.
I am always in for a drink and a game of pool, dart, soccer or a swim in the pool etc.
I love hiking and being in the nature, exploring.

Música, películas y libros

Arthouse movies, romantic or action...depends on my mood. I enjoy reading books with well-thought and written stories. Not the simplest language but not boring either.

Bush Camp Okavango Delta:
In the middle of the night my colleague needs to pee. Bush toilet created close to the water (behind the tents).
By the time I sort myself out, I hear a hippo which is most likely disturbed by our torch.
My colleague shouts "hippo!?!" and runs off back to the tent. With the light!
I panic and run after her. We make it to the tent, get in close the zipper and burst out laughing.
Amazing experience in the wild!
I haven't seen the hippo myself but next morning I was told that it had been only 20 meters away..o.O

I am environmental scientist with a base in engineering, currently updating on management topics. Open for discussions but no pressure, I'm not perfect either..!
