I am an adventurous soul who hasn’t had the chance to experience the world yet. I’m planning a year long backpacking trip around the world (Mainly Europe) but am new to this so I’m struggling between the “go with he flow” mentality and planning everything out. I love the idea of traveling solo (although it sounds terrifying at the same time) I believe I can grow as a person during he experience and hopefully meet some amazing people along he way.

I’m a good person that enjoys making people happy. There’s nothing better than making someone smile and I want the chance to do that all over the world! I love sports, music, fooooood, making memories in whatever fashion deems necessary, and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because during my travels, one of my biggest concerns is meeting people. Especially during the beginning of my journey when I’m at my most vulnerable and still learning state. Even more so for he idea of living more of the “local” lifestyle. I feel as if people are put in each other’s lives for a reason and this could be a great platform to make that happen! Hopefully later in life I can host some travelers as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music and movies. Reading is something I would like to get more involved with, especially during my travels. I can sit down and read articles for hours but a book is a different story. I don’t know, it’s weird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My freshman year of college, as I returned home for summer, I met two people who gave me this dream to travel and experience different cultures. They were foreign exchange students and I remember the heartbreak we all suffered during their departure. Contact has been kept ever since (almost 10 years) and I may finally have the opportunity to reunite in their home countries. Portugal and Germany.
