I think community living is super important to understanding your neighbour. I've recently done a lot of hosteling, but now I'm looking for a personal touch and connecting with hosts and travellers alike

Interesses

Acting: Currently my favourite hobby as I do not get paid for any works I have done. I'm hoping that this position will potentially open up a door where I can also do some acting work on the side as I grow as an individual.
Filmmaking Process: I absolutely adore being on film sets and mainly being behind the camera and editing. There is something about being the storyteller and allowing to control the tale your viewers watch that really calls to me. I think when it comes down to it, I want people to feel something from the work I produce. If they walk away in any way changed from what they saw, then I have created something beautiful

Cooking: One of my Chef's told me that eating is one of the most intimate things you can do because whatever you eat truly becomes you. Ever since that moment, my need to cook wonderful meals has been a big thing for me because I feel as if I can become closer people of all walks if I create something that they love. My signature dish is custom cheesecakes.

Advertising/Marketing: You are unable to get away from advertisements now adays. What we see day in and day out guides our daily operations and can be influenced on a whim depending on what someone sees. You may not get away from it, but that doesn't mean you can't control it. This is why I have such an interest in this field. I want to be able to create people not only see as art, but are drawn to it.

Traveling: I have been very lucky to be able to travel so much in my young life already. I feel that traveling is truly the only way one can really open their mind and become a member of the global society. It is one thing to see the world through a screen, but the experience becomes so much more when you share the same air as some of the greatest areas of the world. The most recent traveling I have done is a two month tour of Europe where I discovered 12 countries. I feel as if my traveling will be far from over, and I look forward to seeing what the rest of the world has to offer.

Sailing: I've been involved with Canadian Navy since I was 12. First, I was a sea cadet for seven years, and then moved on to become an officer in the RCN when I was 19. I have been around boats the majority of my life and I love how your perception of the world changes when you see life from the water. I hope that one day I can purchase my own vessel and sail areas of the world.
Writing: Although I have done nothing professional as of yet, I a lot of my spare time doing creative writing in order to keep my mind sharp. I try to leave my mind open for new ideas and get them down on paper. From there, my hands can flow freely and I can grow upon my ideas and develop interesting
