I am a retired Army officer, diver, somewhat crazy cat lady and wannabe writer who is traveling the world and blogging about my experiences. Looking to meet new people and to discover "the real" locations rather than just the attractions, boardwalks, and restaurants.

My passion is travel. By February 2018, I should have visited all 50 states and all seven continents (yes, including Antarctica). What left to do but add to the list of the 30 countries I have already seen? Is it too ambitious to hope for all 190-some?
