Recently started a sabbatical after a 20 year career so that I could undertake more travel with less restrictions.

Hosted numerous people in Darwin Australia, but now looking at experiencing the other side of Couchsurfing.

Day hikes, architecture and culinary experiences are what I tend to look towards, but I've also been know to enjoy a few beers and delve into the local music scene.

I started hosting Couchsurfers a few years ago while I was unable to travel myself.
It was an awesome way to meet people from varying backgrounds and talk about their adventures trekking the globe.
1 of my guests even became a housemate for 2 1/2 years, which explains my absence from hosting.
I hope it will be similar as the guest, as opposed to the host.

兴趣

I'm a sports tragic, as you will no doubt find out; Liverpool #6🏆, White Caps, Red Sox, Golden Knights, Heat (I won't mention the NFL team I support...😐). Plus teams back home.

I don't mind an evening drink on a balcony/beach/mountain.

The kitchen is my happy place and where I 'decompress' after work.

I've really started enjoying getting out amongst the hills or coastline more recently on day hikes.

-Climbed the 3 peaks of the Table Mountain Range
-Attended FIFA World Cup 2018
