ABOUT ME

Just caught the travelling bug! Travelled alone for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it. Met some great people through a couchsurfing meetup in San Diego and noncouchsurfers while staying in hostels.

I love to be active and try new things. Doing a lot of mud/obstacle course races lately and enjoy just about every sport even if I am not that good at it. I took an improv comedy class last fall to try and challenge myself and to my surprise I am still taking class and really enjoy doing it.

I am a biologist by training, but really enjoy learning about human behavior. Taking a really fun class online right now through coursera about irrational behavior.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met people through a couchsurfing meetup and had one person show me around the city, but I have yet to either surf or host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving:) Found out upon arrival that it was the last day that the skydiving center was open. Add to that, that my tandem instructor was the last one to the prep room and rushed through buckling me in. Made for an extra fear filled time, but I am still alive.
