About Me

I like to travel slowly, get a real idea of the countries I visit, meet locals and learn a little of the language.

I've travelled in South and South East Asia, Europe, especially the Balkans, and I've lived for a year in the USA while studying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only as a surfer so far, hopefully that will change.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With a lovely Nepali family in Kathmandu.
With a fellow biology student in Reykjavik.
With a family I met in a hostel and then visited in Seattle.

Interests

Biology, ecology, natural history.
Walking, kayaking, camping.
Politics, good (else cheap) booze, entertaining conversation.
Caves, caving and mine exploration.

Also travelling, evidently.
