ABOUT ME

I am a very open-minded, outgoing, optimistic and generally happy person who loves to meet new people from all around the world. Experiencing new countries and getting to know new people and their cultures are my favorite things in life. I have a lot of international friends from all around the world. I just love travelling. It is my absolute passion and though I love my home country very much, I permanently feel the urge to see new places away from home. If I haven't travelled for a while, my wanderlust overcomes me and I start planning my next trip. :) My favorite part about travelling: Food! I love food! I also like to cook and try new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like going to CS meetings and hanging out with Couchsurfers. I am also in touch via email with friends around the world that I have met on CS. The travel bug has bitten me, so I might take advantage of couchsurfing opportunities here or there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed a couple of times in the USA and South America. It was always a great experience. I got to meet new people from all around the world pretty much every day.
With them I have stayed in touch ever since. Most people I meet on CS I stay in touch via Facebook though which is why I don't have a long friends' list on CS.

I love funny movies and tend to get addicted easily to TV shows. I am a big fan of The Big Bang Theory and Breaking Bad. I thought the show Narcos was really interesting since I loved Medellín and Columbia in general.
I listen to all kinds of music (country, Latin music, Reggaetone, hip hop, r´n´b, rock,...)
I like fantasy books, my favorite will always be Harry Potter and The NeverEnding Story (by Michael Ende). These days I mainly read novels or books that promise words of wisdom like those about the Dalailama. ;)

It wasn't amazing doing it (probably the hardest thing I have ever done ), but it is definitely amazing having made it all the way up there ;-)

I like to teach German. I love cooking for friends because I love food even more when sharing it with others :-) Also really like to share my culture and positive way of life.
