Hi. I'm an excited, witty, world tourer. I took a gap year away from university starting the summer of 2015 and going all the way until the summer of 2016, in that time I toured both the US and some of Europe. I'm was excited to see as many places as possible, eat crazy foods, but most of all I ended up meeting lots of great new people.
If you can get past the terrible scraggly facial hair you'll find someone who'd love to hear about all the crazy stuff you've done, but maybe after a warm shower or a steaming cup of coffee in the morning.
If you're hosting me and don't have an extra bed or couch, that's totally fine. I'm 100% okay with just throwing my sleeping pad and bag down on a floor. I'm an organized surfer and will leave whatever space you give me cleaner than when I got there, years of having 5 roomates has forced me to really embrace being clean and tidy.

I love meeting new people. Couchsurfing is yet another way for me to do that. Also, after having hung out with locals on a couple previous trips, it's hard for me to go back to the boring ways of finding a bed in foreign countries. After all, an empty hotel room doesn't really make for good company.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spent 40 days straight backpacking and canoeing. I first managed to make it over 14k feet of altitude on trails that were far snowier than they should've been in 45-50+ degree weather, got to swim in lakes still covered in floating ice and trek in snow so deep that the trail markers were buried. I then went straight to canoeing in the Quetico where I met an amazing old Canadian man who told me why it's called the Quetico, hint it isn't for the 5+ foot deep muskeg I had to trek through on one of the portages.

Chicago politics or Seattle hipsters, but if you're one of the sane people who wants something lighter than that I can talk about my crazy stories on Chicago public transit- one of those even involves a wedding. If you've got kids I can teach them a card game they've never heard of before. If you've got adults I can still teach you card games you've never heard of before. If you've got friends, you guessed it, I can teach em a card game.
