New to Couchsurfing having only couch surfed once in Guatemala with some rad Germans volunteering there, and now don't want to look back! Couch Surfing is the life!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - rock, punk, metal, but basically anything that doesn't contain references to American Idol, Britney Spears, auto-tones or the like.

I'll give most movies a chance. Culturally significant films and the arthouse genre intrigue me the most.

Books - must admit that I'm not the biggest reader but i do enjoy a well writen autobiography and books on music history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bribed the security guard in Tikal, Guatemala to let me camp on top of the oldest Mayan pyramid in the lost city at night! Stars were out, the moon was full and I saw a jaguar creeping around, in and out of the shadows. Howler monkeys waking violently in the jungle that has engulphed the largest city of the Mayan civilization. Magic!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach in-depth and practical photographic skills, and can give a few english lessons. I really want to continue learning Spanish and love learning new instruments.
