ABOUT ME

I am a Teacher and Coach along with being a soon to be single father to a wonderful boy. I love sports and whenever I can going to soccer matches around the US. I love to travel and explore when I have the chance and hope some day to share that with my son. I try to find interesting restaurants and eateries that the locals only know about since that's what tells you what it's like to live in a place.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't couchsurfed for a several years due to being married and the wife was not a big fan of it. But when I did do it I was active in the local scene and used coachsurfing when going many places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience so far has been limited to my time in Jamaica, going to a international cricket match in Fort Lauderdale and Northern Kentucky when I had to do teaching orientation before I got an apartment set up.

Interesses

My biggest interest is to travel and learn about other cultures. I also like to play sports all the time and coach. I'm a rock hound and a caver when I get the chance. I like to volunteer with habitat for humanity and do construction work to help others when the chance arises. I also liked to go out dancing which stopped when I got married.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Favorite Music would have to be Guns n' Roses, Michael Buble and whatever has a good beat when it comes on the radio. I'll listen to almost everything.

Movies I would have to say anything sports or history or Sci-fi really draws me in I wish I had more time to see more movies but time is not on my side these days.

Books would be more historical or geographical in mind but I have gotten into autobiographies lately Alex Ferguson, Wayne Rooney and other sports icons.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Climbed in the Andes, rafted down the Amazon, swam with sharks and penguins in the Galapagos Islands. Camped with Elephants in Thailand, Hung out with monks in Bangkok, chilled with Rastafarian's in Jamaica. Went under Niagara Falls, over and under Iguassu Falls in Brazil and Argentina . You can never do enough and never say you will ever do it again if the chance arises.

I love to teach others about different cultures, geology and whatever else is stuck in my head. I'm a walking trivia board that gets tired of knowing useless facts at times.
