Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a full-time parent and worker, funds are low and time is tight. I'm one who likes to pop over to a place for a quick visit. I love meeting new and interesting people and think "surfing" will give am an inside view of the places I visit. When I travel, I always have the most fun when I stay with locals. Don't get me wrong, DC is nothing but a tourist trap, who doesn't love a good dive bar.

I love to crochet, knit, bake and swim. One of the joys of living in DC is our proximity to outdoor and free activities. How can you not take advantage of free museums and a zillion hiking trails!?
