About Me
Hi! I'm Corrina and I'm a nursing student studying in French Immersion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to start Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people, going on adventures, and trying new things. I think this will be a good way to do all three of those things!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all different kinds of music! My favourite movie is My sister's Keeper, but in general I don't watch that many movies. My favourite book is probably a nursing text book since thats all I have time to read!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just got back from spending five weeks in Quebec, doing an intensive french immersion program called Explore. It was AMAZING! I had so much fun and I just got back last night but I'm already planning my next adventures!
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing I'd like to teach: all the fun things to do in Ottawa!
One thing I'd like to learn: how to dance! I'm planning on taking up swing dancing this year, and I'd like to explore other genres too :)
One thing I'd like to share: I love cooking for people, going to potlucks, and sharing stories and culture over dinner or even just coffee or a glass of wine!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a pretty small apartment, but you're welcome to sleep on the couch for as long as you need! Theres a full bathroom you can use as well as a kitchen, and if you're here when I'm not busy I'll probably even make you breakfast or dinner! I love having people over and I'm so excited to show you the fun things to do in Ottawa. I only moved here 2 years ago myself so I've spent a lot of time getting to know the good places to go in the city. A few of my favourite things to do are
- skating on the canal
- trampolining at Skyzone
- hanging out on patios in the market
- visiting the local festivals (Latin Sparks is especially fun)
- going to the beach
- packing a picnic and going hiking in Gatineau park
I look forward to meeting you and I hope I can make you feel at home here :)
