Hello! I am a travel bug, who loves good food, beautiful sights, and anything near the water. I am married to an awesome, talented, photographer and we have two chunky kitty cats. I am most definitely an extrovert and find even more enjoyment in new places when I can connect with people as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said, full extrovert here. I actually couch surfed in Amsterdam when I was in college but the platform wasn't quite as impressive as it is now! I only did it the once and have no idea where the profile disappeared to, but now that I am doing more solo traveling I am really looking to make genuine connections.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love streaming services that let you pick your music based on your mood or activity, the music I listen to when I'm getting ready for a night out is very different then the music I want to hear on a rainy day. Going to the movies has always been a favorite activity of my family, and I love a good rom-com. I am reading a lot of female empowerment type books right now, and I like it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started solo kayaking and camping. As a woman with limited outdoor skills and experiences, it feels pretty amazing to me. Also, I quit my job and moved across the country to pursue travel therapy.
