About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go explore as much as I can while I'm not tied down with a career.

ABOUT ME

I'm a quiet and independent explorer and artist. I have a hard time summing myself up, hopefully the rest of my profile will give you a more complete picture.

Interests

I love photography. I love toying with cameras and building my own equipment.

I also restore and ride old bikes. My main mode of transportation is a 1973 Motobecane Nomade. I've gone bicycle camping a couple times and took a 150 mile tour this spring and I'm hoping to spend a couple months touring in the northwest this summer.

I camp every chance I get, whether it's by car, bike, foot, or raft.

I'm a big urban explorer. I've seen and photographed abandoned houses, factories, airfield control towers, missile silos, and much more.

I also enjoy reading, music, films, and video games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring an abandoned Cold War era missile silo complex. After descending several stories in damp, cave-like bunker corridors I was able to stand in the control room. A short walk down a metal tube, and I was behind the blast door of the silo. By sticking my head through a small hole in the wall next to the door I was able to peer 200 feet down into the massive silo that once housed a thermonuclear doomsday device.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to help anyone interested in photography, bikes, urban exploration, or any of my other interest.
