I am currently working as a numismatist, massage therapist, and musician and I dabble in horticulture but really, I am a dad and that's about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will have the chance to travel some in the US and internationally in the next few years for educational purposes and I really don't like hotels and I hate being a tourist and supporting that culture. I feel like a pleasant, kind and mutually beneficial circumstance can often be found and I'm open to the idea of hosting and surfing for the betterment of my life and the general human experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Having favorites seems like a very superficial experience and a waste of time, and mine seem to be fleeting at best, especially in the art realm. I am currently having a meltdown over the idea that I may be in love with certain chords and progressions more than any audible artists' particular manifestations and I generally like light fantasy/fiction in movies and my books to give me facts.

I'm not a burden, I am a licensed massage therapist in Georgia but as long as it's for free I'm good anywhere, I can offer my advice on coins or plants and I am totally willing to sing for my supper (or a couch to sleep on)
