ABOUT ME

I (Cory) love my family and wish I had many super powers (laser eyes, super strength, you get the point.) I love the sound of the axe as it meets wood, and the smell of good food cooking. I spent two years living in a yurt with Kianne in an intentional community called Wise Acres. There I found an insatiable desire for community, and I love the way you can find it in the most unexpected places. I love authentic connection and honest conversation with people, and can't wait to meet the next person just around the corner.

I (Kianne) love to travel, and some of my greatest passions are my love for my family and friends, writing (I hope to become a writer or journalist), drawing and painting, and learning about physical anthropology. I love meeting new people and having good conversations, curling up with a good book, and taking walks.

We are both so excited to be on our first big adventure travelling! We both love exploring, having great conversations over wonderful food, playing games, laughing, and meeting new people. We've been on the rode for 4 months now and love it. We have met so many amazing people and made some wonderful friends. Traveling has already taught us so many things, we're so happy we have several more months of travel before we head home. We're already planning our next backpacking adventure!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We both hope to host when we have our own place. For now we are exploring the surfing side of CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are still kind of new to Couchsurfing, but so far we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. We've made great friends who have welcomed us to their homes and helped us have the most wonderful experiences. So excited to keep surfing (and hopefully host when we return home!) and make more friends!

Intereses

Algo increíble que he hecho

I (Cory) recently saw my nephew brought into the world. It changed my life.

I (Kianne) went on my first big adventure (with Cory!) and am travelling for the first time in my life. Its only been travelling for 4 months and I've already learned and experienced so much.

Cory is a lover of knives and things that sharpen them, and is willing to share his knowledge with anyone interested. He wants to learn about blacksmithing and farming. Kianne hopes to be able to paint and draw with others, teach some of her skill and learn more of the craft from others.
