About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To better keep up with my social network (I hadn't previously updated this page since before I moved to CA, circa 2011, and now it’s been since I was in MI, circa 2015, so I dropped that ball. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
ABOUT ME
My name is CMB and I have lived in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Nevada, Michigan, Minnesota, and now I’m back in Texas. I enjoy traveling and I look forward to meeting new people up here.
PHILOSOPHY
About what in particular? Without going too in depth, I believe life is meant to be lived. Sure I spend plenty of time reading, watching TV, but I try to spend as much time as I can with friends, family, cooking, traveling, and ultimately experiencing as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Besides donating and becoming a verified member, there is nothing I have done, but I hope to be able to meet more members and contribute to the CS Project a lot more in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Most of my CouchSurfing experiences have been relegated to friends and family that I have visited on trips to/from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and Corpus Christi, visiting all over Texas. However, my most recent CouchSurfing experience was visiting my family in New York on Long Island, November of 2010. I spent ten days there, traveling to/from NYC, meeting with the Theatre Department at Columbia University, and having a terrific time in the process.
Interests
Being a Theatre major, my interests are quite varied between all sorts of Art (music, visual, performance,) Food, History, Philosophy, Politics, Religion. My focus while I was in Corpus Christi, TX was Dramaturgy, so I really enjoy research. However, this is not to mean that I am a bookworm or a know-it-all, what I enjoy most is meeting new people and experiencing things that are different or unique from my own past, and helping to shape my future, and those around me, for the better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Book: 'Roverandom' by JRR Tolkien
Favorite TV Series: Doctor Who
Favorite Meal: Probably Lasagna or Phở, but most non-fast food/non-chain restaurant food is fine with me.
Favorite Music: I really enjoy Blues and music that shares a similar style (Rock, Metal, Rap, Country.) So long as it isn't Pop music, I'll enjoy pretty much anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Grand Canal and Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy are the greatest things I've seen, and graduating from TAMU-CC is currently the best thing I've done.
