ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, intelligent person with a passion for travelling. I love to meet new people and experience different cultures. I don't want to die saying that I didn't do the best that I can to see as much of the world as humanly possible. I love Hockey, mainly to watch it. I haven't played in a few years, I have also refereed hockey before as well. That was a lot of fun.
I like to go skiing in the winter. I have now snowboarded before.. but I'm not anywhere near good. lol In summer I really love Volleyball.
Overall,I really love to meet new people and have a good time. If I was given 100$ to spend on a game or a concert, I'd go with the concert, as it would be the thing I'd remember in 50 years.
I like to think that people are generally good, and will normally always give people a chance. I was born in Europe as my dad was in the Canadian Military, but don't have a dutch passport yet.. hopefully soon. I love music as well I think that it is an amazing thing that makes the world go around so much smoother. I'm always up for an adventure, or something I haven't done before, except I don't know whether I would go bungee jumping... that just doesn't look good. funny as i'm not really scared of hieghts, and am a definite aviation enthusiast. prove me wrong, I'm okay with that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly I can only participate through couch surfing right now is to be a guest. I don't have my own place right now. Although I hope to in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is an amazing trend I think. It is a phenomenal way to meet new people and see the world from a different perspective, and learn about the cultures of the countries you are taking in. I have met some awesome people through this site, and hope to again in the near future.

兴趣

I have many different interests. The biggest one I have is airplanes and flying. Which of course goes hand in hand with travel. I was studying aviation until medically Transport Canada found me unfit to fly and I was forced to reroute to a different life.
I love sports, mainly being hockey, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse. I'm interested in nature, in art (to an extent), mountains, national parks, and places that make you amazed of the planet we live in. I want to travel the world but not as just another tourist. I want to see things that other people won't always even think about. get outside the cities, and meet people who are amazing with stories, and life experiences different than my own.

I love music. I love listening to new music from different countries and cultures. (call me a nerd but I used to play trumpet in the school band) Music is amazing I like almost all music, with the exceptions of heavy screamo, and gangster rap. I love bands like Simple plan, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Hedley, 30 seconds to Mars, Yellowcard. Some of those are very Canadian so you may not know them sorry.

Movies I love action, and adventure, as well as sci-fi. I love most of marvels movies, as well as the bourne series is quite good. Favorite TV show is definitely Game of Thrones, and I can't wait for season 5.

I can probably teach you quite a bit about Flying, as I used to be in school to become a pilot. Loved that and still know quite a bit about airplanes, and airports as It was a main focus for around two years. Sadly I can't fly planes myself anymore.
I can also maybe teach some landscaping. I have done a apprenticeship in Horticulture and as much as I don't love the job I do know quite a bit about the trade. Who knows if I end up at your place maybe I can help you out with a landscaping plan.
I love learning new things about people places and what other peoples jobs and lives consist of.

Well, I can't really host right now. Maybe sometime in the near future I can. Sadly the parents don't like the idea of hosting strangers. I'd love to meet you for coffee though if you were passing through my area.
